June 20, 2014 Friday Parent Letter
June 20, 2014
Happy Friday! It’s hard to believe this is your last Friday letter! I pray your child and your family have enjoyed the school year. We have had an outstanding first year with wonderful memorable events to celebrate and cherish. Based on your response we have achieved our number one goal, which is to stay focused on our mission. GeneseeSTEMAcademy is an environment where the 3 C’s flourish; Concern, Collaboration, and positive Chemistry exist for everyone! We are dedicated and committed to the success of every individual, young and old!
Congratulations to all the students for completing the MAP reading and math assessment. We saw student’s scores soar and are very proud of their accomplishments! We will continue to strive for excellence.
Today we applaud the Prekindergarten and Kindergarten students for completing the first major step of their educational journey! The Genesee STEM staff extends our sincere appreciation for you selecting our phenomenal team to educate your most precious gift.
Monday, June 23rd is Transition Day, when students will spend a couple of hours (9:15-11:15am) at their next grade level. It will be a time to start building positive relationships and learning about the exciting adventures ahead!
Wednesday, June 25th is Field Day! The day will be filled with fun activities to enjoy. Students should be prepared with an extra set of clothing, because we have many water events planned. All students must wear tennis shoes. Picnic lunch will be served. Students can bring money for popcorn and delicious smoothies (.50¢ each). Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to help with our end of year event! If you have any questions give us a call.
